For accountants
Refer a client. Keep the client.
When a client's position stops being a cashflow problem, we take the insolvency conversation off your desk without taking your client with it.
Short answer
Send us the client's name and how urgent it is. Michael calls you first, then speaks to the director, free and in confidence. You stay copied in, you keep the compliance work, and if the company can be defended rather than closed, that is what we will say. Call 0345 017 9773 if you would rather talk it through first.
What we promise you
- We speak to you before we speak to your client, so nothing happens behind you.
- Your client keeps you as their accountant. We do not pitch for compliance work.
- You get a plain summary of the options, so you can advise alongside us.
- Where a formal appointment is needed, Mark Bassford FCA, our licensed insolvency practitioner, carries it out.
- If the company can be saved, we say so. A referral is not a one-way street to liquidation.
When to pick up the phone
- VAT or PAYE arrears that are no longer being caught up
- A statutory demand, a CCJ, or a winding-up petition
- Creditor pressure your client has stopped mentioning to you
- An overdrawn director's loan account with no route back
- A viable trade trapped inside a company with legacy debt
Rather talk before you refer?
Call 0345 017 9773 and ask for Michael. No client details needed to have the conversation.
